Record opening dimensions, leaves, hinges, latches, posts and any automation or electrical work.

Grade and access

Identify slopes, steps, retaining conditions, restricted access and utilities to be located.

Finish and site repairs

Include coatings, disturbed ground, debris removal and the final boundary layout.

What the total can tell you

Fencing and walls share one historical spending category. It does not establish a per-foot price for a particular fence system.

The budget adds the quoted price, separately priced Extra items, other costs left out and any tax not already included. Your chosen reserve is added to that subtotal. Treat every “Ask” row as work that is not yet confirmed as included. Get the answer in writing before comparing totals.
