How to plan the quantity
Walls use perimeter times room height. Select the ceiling to add its length times width. Openings subtract area, but small cutouts may not reduce the actual number of sheets.
The sheet count is an area estimate with your allowance. Plan board orientation and joint locations against the framing before using it as an order. A narrow offcut cannot necessarily finish another wall.
Tape is based on measured joint length. Compound coverage and screw counts are inputs from the product and fastening layout, not hidden per-room constants.

- This does not set fire rating, board thickness, wet-area suitability, finish level or fastener spacing.
- Count corner bead, access panels and backing separately. Texture matching and repainting belong in a repair quote.
