How to plan the quantity

The main shape is an open-front shower: a back wall, two side walls and a floor. Add the curb faces, niche returns and any fourth-wall surfaces as separate rectangles.

Subtract the face of an untiled opening from wall area, then add the tiled returns inside it. Wall and floor boxes round separately because they often use different tile.

Tile and grout are not the waterproofing assembly. Keep the membrane, drain, corners, curb and penetration details together in the quote.
