How the examples were selected
Updated 2026-10-03. The latest 100 issued single-family records mentioning “window” and “replace” from 2025 onward were reviewed. They represented 98 unique permit numbers. Three were retained; the other 97 rows were excluded: 72 bundled, nonreplacement or incompletely described records, 23 revisions or linked additional scopes, and two duplicate permit numbers.
Separate source queries checked each retained permit number and descriptions referring to it. No related rows were found in that saved check. Permit revisions and placeholders were not counted as independent installations.
This is a selected set of examples, not a complete or random sample. It cannot establish a median, local price range or price per window. Completion and final invoices are unknown.
